Volunteers give thousands of hours to help working families have a simple, decent place to live. Learn how to join our team.

Habitat for Humanity's Women Build program encourages women to strengthen families and their community by building homes.  Your participation provides more than shelter, it gives families the stability they need to thrive, and a means to build personal wealth to better their children's future.

Sponsor a Women Build Project

Gather your friends and colleagues to ‘show your muscle’ and learn new skills during your Dallas Habitat Women Build.  No previous construction experience is necessary - just a desire to join others to make a lasting difference in the life of a deserving family.

Your Home Sponsorship
By sponsoring a Dallas Habitat home you are truly making the dream of homeownership a reality for a deserving family.  Each home constructed requires $65K to complete, making your financial and volunteer support essential to achieving our mission.

As a sponsor you gain valuable recognition and select participation dates for your company or group.  For more information on the benefits of full and partial home sponsorship,  please contact Kristen Trebon at ktrebon@dallas-habitat.org.

Did You Know?

Women Build Fast Facts

Women are a powerful social and economic force with the means to both fund and construct homes where children can flourish.

Women-built projects provide an opportunity for women to learn new skills, participate in team-building activities and make a lasting difference for children and families.

A total of 14 Women Build homes have been built in Dallas, contributing to the more than 450  WB homes nationwide.

These homes seek to address the growing problem of children living in poverty in the U.S.  Currently 12 million U.S. children – one in six – live in poverty which is a severe threat to their health, growth and potential.
