On-site construction work is the most popular of Habitat's volunteer opportunities for groups. We make every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers, regardless of skill level. Each week, dozens of businesses, faith-based groups, professional organizations, school/youth groups, alumni groups and individuals come together to participate as a community with Habitat. These groups help make Habitat the organization it is!

Groups build primarily on Saturdays, although sponsored weekday opportunities are available as well.

Groups that provide sponsorship have priority in scheduling since that sponsorship allows families to have the 0% interest mortgage. When we have space available, non-sponsoring groups with up to 25 volunteers are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, we have more groups that want to volunteer than funds to build houses!
