Becoming a House Sponsor is an excellent way to make a lasting difference in your community and involve your congregation, employees or members in the life-changing experience of building a home alongside a deserving family.  Dallas Habitat welcomes sponsorship partners from corporations, faith based organizations, civic groups, individuals, and foundations to contribute funding and volunteers to build a Habitat home. Sponsors may participate on a variety of financial levels including a full house sponsor at $65,000 to Team Build Sponsors who contribute $10,000.

Sponsor donations pay for the cost of the materials to build the home, tools and supplies. Sponsor volunteers participate in building the home under careful supervision of trained Core Volunteers and Construction Staff. Sub-contractors provide professional services for electrical, plumbing, and sheetrock installation.

Habitat Homeowners works alongside the sponsor volunteers building the home. Working together, Homeowners and Sponsors develop a positive relationship, gaining a greater understanding about the need for affordable housing and the ability to transform lives and communities. There is no way to accurately measure the positive, motivational effects of working together as a staff, congregation, or group.  

Dallas Habitat provides all supplies needed for a safe, successful and meaningful work day. Volunteers provide their own hand tools (hammer, measuring tape, utility knife), as well as their own lunch/beverages. Work days begin at 7:45 a.m. and finish at 4:00 p.m. Volunteers learn construction skills as they serve the community.

Full House Sponsorship: $65,000
Sponsors are welcome to include 20 - 25 volunteers needed for each of 8 build days. Sponsors receive prominent recognition on build site signage, in Dallas Habitat's newsletter, and website linkage from Dallas Habitat's site.

Partial House Sponsorship: $35,000
Sponsors are welcome to include 20 - 25 volunteers needed for a number of build days commensurate with thedonation amount. Partial House Sponsors receive recognition on build site signage, in Dallas Habitat's newsletter, and website linkage. Partial Sponsors will be partnered with other sponsors to complete the funding of a home.

Team Build Sponsor: $10,000
Team Build sponsors are welcome to include 20 - 25 volunteers for one work day.
