How To Qualify and Apply
Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity makes homeownership affordable for families. To apply and qualify to become a Habitat partner family you must meet certain requirements.
Habitat Homeowner Qualifications
- You must be a US citizen or permanent resident
- You must be employed and able to afford monthly payments of $500-$650 and a one time escrow payment of $2000.
- You must be willing to complete 400 hours of sweat equity
- You must have an acceptable credit history
- You must fall within the income guidelines below
